Senior Financial Analyst, Customer Fulfilment Finance chez Amazon

Amazon is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support a Customer Fulfillment activitity (CF) within our French Operations Finance team in France. The candidate will work closely with operations leaders, as well as support functions (PXT, Procurement, Supply-Chain). The person in this role will be directly responsible for decision support, controllership and finance for the largest cost area of the business. The role will involve ad-hoc analysis and special projects requiring detailed modeling to support the decision-making of senior leadership. You will help the operations to drive performance and build plans for the future. The candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working to tight deadline among various teams; he/she will be a creative and analytical problem solver. The growth of the business and the increasing complexity driven by new launches and services make this role an exciting, interesting and challenging proposition.

Key job responsibilities

• Business partnering with Senior Ops, Senior Finance Management to drive business performance/productivity and optimize costs
• Partnering with operational teams to influence financial and operational productivity and mitigate risks
• Responsible for financial controlling and cost-out initiatives
• Monitoring Key Pillars KPI within CF organization (Productivity, Supply Chain, Labor, Capex) – Supporting the decision making process with expertise and analysis

Basic Qualifications

• A degree
• Relevant experience in a finance role leading a project or programme and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business
• Relevant experience working with Excel, reporting tools and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
• Relevant experience in financial modelling

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Mathematics, or Economics
• Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
• Experience of working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment
• Experience of making strategic business decisions and manage internal relationships
