At the crossroads of marketing, finance, commercial and supply chain, the analytical skills of the Regional F&B Forecast team supports business strategy and identifies opportunities as well as risks to ensure CHANEL’s commercial development and meet client demand for CHANEL’s coveted F&B products.
What Impact You Create At Chanel
- You guarantee reliable forecasts to meet markets’ strategy and budget ambitions, in line with local sales trends & product plan potential
- Perform monthly sales forecasts over 12 months horizon using a statistical tool for all the markets within your scope
- Lead monthly forecast validation meetings with cross-functional local teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance) by providing risk and opportunity assessment on product & supply performance to ensure budget alignment
- Collect market intelligence information and keep yourself informed of major events occurring to be able to enrich sales forecasts
- You contribute to financial health by being responsible for the right expression of F&B Europe demand on a specific product line to avoid loss & obsolescence and, as such, play a role in sustainability goals.
- Build estimate on new product launches, provide guidelines to markets, and challenge their forecasts in collaboration with regional marketing. You drive consensus between market, region and division to achieve an aligned ambition among all stakeholders.
- Analyze the consistency and relevance of forecasts in relation to regional strategy, budget and trends. You participate in regional S&OP meeting to share risks & opportunities with Europe Executive Committee.
- Ensure European markets’ demand for your product axe in a monthly cycle to help F&B Division size production of products & promotional material
- You contribute to Europe’s performance by optimizing stock distribution of new product campaigns
- Ensure optimal allocation of orders for new product launched within your product line.
- Arbitrate on stock allocation among markets in case of product shortages to maximize brand image & business potential
- Play an active role in the coordination and communication to ensure the campaign execution between markets, region and division

- Assessing risks and opportunities and sharing with Sales and Operations teams
- Setting forecasts for skincare, fragrance and beauty products across all distribution channels and estimating forecasts for product launches 12 months in advance ab uncertain context
What You Will Bring
BAC+5 in higher education with at least 5 years of experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Forecasting or Marketing you have a flair for figures and excellent analytical skills
Good product awareness
Good understanding of sales issues, you have a good command of office automation tools (macro, VBA, Power BI is a plus)
You speak fluent English.
Dynamic, with excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy coordinating roles and are recognized for your rigor and organizational skills, as well as your sense of service.
