Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who will be acting as an Investment Analyst in the Private Equity infrastructure sector in Paris.

As part of Schroders Capital Infrastructure (legally known as Schroders Capital Management France SAS), you will play a key role in executing and managing PE infrastructure investments.

You will have the opportunity to work on infrastructure transactions across several sectors, with a more specific focus on energy transition.

The Team

Our Private Equity infrastructure sector in Paris is focused on impactful investments and is expanding its collaboration with Schroders Capital Greencoat, an equity infrastructure investment team based in London and Dublin. Our team specialises in investing in renewable energy and energy transition assets across the UK and Europe.

What You’ll Do

  • Review investment opportunities
  • Assist in deals execution (manage Due Diligence, draft Investment memos, run Excel models,..)
  • Run complex financial models and simulate the impact of alternative assumptions
  • Work with company management to deliver key strategic initiatives (such as financing-refinancing, new development projects, add-on acquisitions …etc)
  • Identify and mitigate key asset risks alongside company management teams
  • Implement and monitor reporting by investee companies and identify material deviations and actions required;
  • Prepare and present quarterly reporting and valuation on portfolio companies to the Schroders Capital Investment Committee and to client investors
  • Assist Managing Directors and distribution teams in preparing and presenting marketing materials.

The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need

  • 1 to 2 years of experience within Infrastructure PE, Private Equity, Project Finance, M&A.
  • Preferably a M&A advisor with strong modelling skills and infrastructure deal experience who is keen to move into a portfolio role;

What You’ll Be Like

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Capacity to develop and run Excel model, ideally with expertise on Infrastructure
  • Self-motivated individual focused on growing the business.
  • Team working spirit – willing to learn and to develop in a team with a flat structure

The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications That Will Help

  • Fluency in French is a strong plus
