The Job

The Global Events Delivery Manager will serve as an integral member of the AVEVA Global Events team and will support the Director, Global Events Delivery to deliver our global Tier 1 events strategy to include external customer/partner events, internal conferences, and key 3rd party events.

The Global Events Delivery Manager will support the planning of dynamic and engaging events to drive new business and create memorable customer experiences, enhance our reputation as a market leader in industrial software, whilst demonstrating strong ROI and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director, Global Events Delivery to execute comprehensive event strategies that align with the company’s objectives and brand identity, that will ultimately deliver strong ROI and impact.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and execution of events across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Support with all aspects of event execution, including logistics and on-site coordination.
  • Host or participate in regular cadence calls with key stakeholders. Identify any issues or risks to the project and finds solutions to address them.
  • Update critical path/project management tool for each event.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop event goals, objectives and KPIs , tracking progress regularly and sharing status updates with key stakeholders.
  • Develop strong strategic relationships with global Marketing peers, regional and global Sales teams, Schneider Electric and other strategic partners.
  • Work closely with Global Events Demand Generation team to measure, monitor and communicate success and ROI of our events.
  • Support new approaches, models, and processes that optimize our events delivery, providing input to the Director, Global Events Delivery on such initiatives.
  • Raise POs and manage invoicing , working very closely with Procurement and Finance teams.
  • Work closely with venues, vendors, and agencies to ensure optimal service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Support post-event evaluation following each event, including leading or participating in debrief meetings, creating detailed reports highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and best practices.
  • Help to drive sustainable events and incorporate sustainable practices into event planning and execution to minimize environmental impact.
  • Adheres to all corporate policies including procurement, gifts & hospitality, etc.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management.
  • Exceptional project management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Creativity in crafting internal and external events and finding new ways to attract and engage our target audiences.
  • Strong understanding of how Events fit into a broader marketing strategy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adept at working under pressure and finding solutions to last minute problems.
  • Experience of working with event agencies and suppliers to deliver outstanding events.
  • Strong demand generation skills, understanding of sales cycles and lead management.
  • Experience with project management and event tools such as Swoogo, Swapcard, Wrike, and Salesforce. Marketo would also be an advantage.
  • Passionate team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong partnerships with sales teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Flexibility for international travel and working evening hours and some weekends depending on event schedule.
