- “Global Corporate & Investment Banking”: global relationship with the main French corporate groups of the CAC 40 and SBF 120 stock exchange index
- “Japanese Corporate Banking”: relationship with the subsidiaries of Japanese groups in France.
Our Business Areas
Global Corporate & Investment Banking is the division in charge of Coverage/Relationship Management of the bank’s major international clients, and main financing products (Capital Markets, Loans Syndication, Project Finance, FX & Derivatives, Securitization, etc.). Coverage teams manage the global relationships with these French multinational groups. These teams have in-depth knowledge of those clients, both from the Credit and Strategy point of view but also of the clients’ needs. At the centre of the customer relationship, “Global Relationship Managers” coordinate the commercial strategy, all the business lines (DCM, FX, Rates, Project Finance, Trade Finance, etc.) in their interaction with the client, as well as the relationship with the global network of MUFG.
What To Expect
The position, based in our Paris branch, is part of “Global Corporate & Investment Banking Division” team. The work is mainly in English.
In a team of twenty people, the position is focused on supporting “Global Relationship Managers” in charge of the relationship with major French groups. The job duties include:
- Support the senior bankers with developing and maintaining clients’ relationships, which involves, preparation of pitchbooks, memos, research, supporting the KYC process etc
- Prepare Capital Allocation Committees, analysis of the profitability of client relationships (“ROE”) at the global level;
- Help originate mandates on various product offerings e.g., debt funding, project finance, acquisition finance, capital markets, etc.
- Follow-up on transactions in MUFG’s international network (Asia, Europe, Americas)

- Be enrolled in Master 1 or Master 2 from a recognised Business or Engineering School (with a Major in Finance)
- Have a customer-oriented and business development mindset
- Have Corporate Finance knowledge
- Be Rigorous, reliable and organized
- Show an excellent level of oral and written operational French and English
- Have excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- A first experience in the Corporate & Investment Banking sector would be a plus
