FRANCE – GLOBAL FINANCE ANALYST – CORPORATE ACCOUNTING (4 to 6 years of experience) chez L'Oréal
Would you like to be a part of this adventure? Join our Accounting & Consolidation team as a Global Finance Analyst – Consolidation.
Reporting directly to the Consolidation Director, you will be part of a team of 10 people. Consolidation represents a real springboard for future responsibilities in Group Finance. Your responsibility could extend to a geographical area (zone), covering several Group companies. You will also manage various transversal analyses.
Here’s how you will have a role to play in this team:
You will be an essential element in the quarterly consolidation process, and you will:
- Provide operational and technical support to subsidiaries of your zone in the preparation and reporting of the consolidation packages for each quarterly reporting phase used for publications
- Ensure the quality of the reports under your responsibility by anticipating problems linked to new standards or specific operations
- Contribute to the preparation of the Group’s published consolidated accounts, the production of deliverables for internal use (Top Management and other internal departments), and the production of the Universal Registration Document.
- Take the responsibility of transversal topics at group level and be a referent among consolidation department
- Analyze/simulate impacts internal and external structuring operations of your zone together with the Consolidation Director, M&A and subsidiairies (acquisitions, mergers, change of consolidation method, creation of new subsidiaries, etc.).
- Collaborate with the CFOs, Chief Accountants and Controllers of the subsidiaries.
- Design and facilitate training seminars on consolidation or normative issues, for the accounting population
The skills that you will need to make an impact:
- You have a higher education (BAC+5); Business School or University Master 2;
- You have a minimum of 4 – 6 years experience in External Audit;
- You are fluent in English as you will be communicating with your counterparts in subsidiaries around the world;
- You will be a real team player, communicating regularly and effectively with your various colleagues and management;
- You will be proactive and dynamic, able to carry out projects and anticipate needs;
- You have a good capacity to adapt, efficiency, pragmatism, rigor and autonomy.
