About Chain Of Events
Chain Of Events is the Paris-based start-up company founded to organize the Paris Blockchain Week, the largest European blockchain conference consisting of an entire week of events with over 10,000 attendees, including the Paris Blockchain Week Summit, our flagship event, RAISE, an event dedicated to AI, and an Investors Day and startup competition to find the most promising new companies in the sector.
We work to consolidate and expand the global leadership of our events, transforming them into the go-to BtoB platform for Blockchain and Web3 top-tier professionals. In 2025, the event will take place in the Carrousel du Louvre from April 8th to 10th and R.AI.SE from July 8th to 9th.
About the position:
The Chain Of Events team is growing, and we are looking for an event intern to join us starting in January! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a hands-on attitude, eager to be part of a great entrepreneurial and international adventure.
Working closely with the operations team, your tasks and activities will include:
1) Before the event:
● Supplier benchmarking and organizing quotes & invoices.
● Following up with suppliers and service providers for the event.
● Working closely with the graphic designer to develop event artwork (print and digital).
● Developing exhibitor kits with the customer success team.
● Closely supervising on-site event preparations.
● Ensuring the preparation of roadmaps.
2) During the event:
● Ensuring all exhibitors are satisfied and providing support as needed.
● Coordinating with various service providers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to the plan.
● Liaising with the technical team in case of issues.
● Ensuring all production teams have up-to-date roadmaps for the various event stages.
Required skills:
● Knowledge of the professional events sector.
● Fluency in English is essential.
● You have excellent communication skills and can address various stakeholders.
● You have strong time management and organizational skills.
● You are a multitasker.
● You pay close attention to detail.
● You are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
● You are resourceful and enjoy solving problems.
● You are familiar with G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, PowerPoint, etc.) and proficient in Excel.
● Familiarity with Monday.com is a plus.
Education and expected experience:
● Master’s degree (1st or 2nd year) in event management.
● Some prior experience in event management is required.
● You must be eligible for an internship agreement.
