PIMCO Prime Real Estate manages a book of 70 Europeans loans representing an €13B exposure. The financings are granted throughout different investment vehicles and provided by a European range of investors. This role is a unique opportunity to manage variety of loans (core and enhanced), to earn experience on multi-jurisdictions, work in growing environment and collaborate with experienced and engaged team members.Key Responsibilities :Loan Asset Management role covering the commercial European real estate loan book managed by Pimco Prime Real with the following scopes :- Tracking loan performance on the dedicated portfolio allocated to the Loan Manager (~10-15 loans – average size ~ € 150M)- Ongoing monitoring of contractual information and compliance obligations such as covenants, collaterals, rent rolls, insurance certificates, KYC, annual financial statements, asset valuations, business plans, ESG data, loan waterfall- Support of loan closings : review of the loan documentation on loan asset management aspects, liaising with investors to screen transaction and submit credit applications, coordinate with various stakeholders involved in cash disbursement, overwatch capital call process, filling forms as well trade tickets, and advise payment instructions- For construction loans : Tracking budget and timing, organizing capital call, review of CPs as the case may BE and ensuring loan disbursements- Post closing works : control, collecting and (electronic & hard copies) filing of loan and security documents, control and monitoring of conditions subsequent- Support loan repayment- Able to act as Facility and Security Agent- Internal and external operational handling of ongoing credit items and waiver requests- Coordination with internal stakeholders and Allianz OE’s concerning verification of interest payments- Preparation of regular loan reviews including update of loan ratings, performance & MV tracker, ESG summary- Contribution to quarterly investors reportings as well as yearly ESG reporting (SFDR, taxonomy, energy data consumption), participation to quarterly portfolio loan review- Liaising with external counterparts : clients, agents, valuers, investors, trustees, legal advisers, project monitors…- Liaising with other PPRE teams : risk & portfolio, ESG reporting, legal, tax, 3P- Participating to asset visits (in the frame of new closings or regular portfolio review)- Keeping cash flow up to date and sharing with stakeholder upon update, providing cash flow forecast to team head in frame of investors baseline and planning- Maintaining internal IT folder up to date, populate the IT cloud (DMS), filling loan reporting systems- Involvements in the tax topics (e.g. withholding tax or substitutive tax) : tax treatment to BE reflected in cash flows and forms to BE properly handled- Participating to regular team calls- Back up colleagues during their absenceKey Requirements/Skills/Experience :- Successfully completed real estate or banking degree- Min. 5 years experience in similar role- Strong knowledge of loan documentation structure- General market knowledge of commercial real estate markets in Europe- Comfortable with Microsoft tools especially Excel- Fluent in French, professional level in English, preferable additional language skills- Capacity to work under pressure, handle multitasking & reporting burdens- Attention to details- Team spiritAdditional Information- Job start : 01/09/2025- Location : ParisFootnote : As of December 2024.
