Your mission

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Purchasing Commodity Manager / Specialist to lead global sourcing and supplier management for Semiconductors (Logic ICs, Analog, MCUs, Sensors) and Memory (DRAM, NAND, NOR).

In this highly visible and business-critical role, you will define and execute global commodity strategies that ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, quality excellence, and alignment with long-term technology roadmaps. You will play a key role in strengthening supply chain resilience while actively supporting product innovation in a fast-evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

– Define and execute the global commodity strategy for semiconductor and memory components, covering sourcing, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and technology alignment.

– Lead worldwide sourcing and supplier management, strengthening the global supplier base to ensure supply continuity and resilience.

– Monitor market dynamics (supply-demand, pricing, capacity, technology trends) and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.

– Own end-to-end supplier relationships, including selection, qualification, contract negotiation, performance management, and strategic partnerships.

– Negotiate commercial terms to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) while ensuring quality, delivery, and service excellence.

– Proactively manage supply chain risks (geopolitical, allocation, EOL) through scenario planning and contingency actions.

– Collaborate closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to support NPI and secure supply for mass production.

– Drive cost and performance improvement initiatives and track supplier KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.

What you bring

– 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a strong focus on semiconductor and/or memory categories and proven experience managing direct relationships with semiconductor manufacturers.

– Solid technical understanding of semiconductor and memory technologies and related supply chain dynamics.

– Strong expertise in contract negotiation, cost modeling, and supply chain risk management.

– Analytical, data-driven mindset with experience using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analysis tools.

– Excellent communication/stakeholder management skills in global, cross-functional environments.

– Strategic, results-oriented profile able to thrive in a fast-paced, international context.

– Fluency in English and French.
