Join the Messaging & Ads team, where we build and maintain the services powering Deezer’s ad delivery and CRM communications. From in-app messages and push notifications to emails, we ensure the right message reaches the right user at the right time. We work closely with the Ads Operations and CRM teams to support Deezer’s global engagement and monetization strategy.
This team is part of the Customer & Monetization startup, a product and engineering unit focused on maximizing user conversion, retention, and monetization across the full user journey: from first app open, to account creation, subscription, and renewal. Our goal is to deliver fast, smooth, secure, and delightful experiences at every step.
As a Front End Technical Expert, you’ll contribute both directly to our Messaging & Ads team and more broadly across the startup as a technical leader.
What you will do:
Technical Leadership
– Coach and mentor team members to grow their technical skills
– Drive architectural improvements and set coding standards
– Lead technical discussions and advocate best practices
– Define and implement cross-stack solutions along with your team’s members to solve customer’s problems and reach company’s objectives
– Work closely with CRM & Ad operations teams to understand their needs and the tools they use
Engineering Expertise
– Build and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript and React
– Optimize data interaction with GraphQL and contribute to our design system
– Manage deployments and monitor metrics using Kubernetes (K8s) and Jenkins
– Conduct code reviews to ensure performance, security, and maintainability
Community & Collaboration
– Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
– Define best practices and stack’s strategy in collaboration with the internal group of experts
– Share best practices and knowledge across teams and represent the group in internal communities
Le profil recherché
Must-Haves
– Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and design systems.
– Experience with Git, Kubernetes (K8s), and Jenkins.
– Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills.
– Communication in French and in English, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-Haves
– Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress.
– Knowledge of microservices and containerization.
– Knowledge of PHP
– Knowledge of SEO
– Knowledge of GraphQL
