Within the General Secretariat of Bel France, you will report directly to the General Secretary and be part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of Public Affairs, Legal and Regulatory, CSR, Nutrition, and Communication experts. Your primary role is to define and lead Bel’s corporate communication strategy in France, as well as to enhance the visibility of Bel’s iconic brands in the cheese and fruit segments. You will be responsible for developing new communication models to serve the business by structuring and deploying ambitious communication strategies. Additionally, you will define and drive the internal communication strategy for Bel in France, targeting teams based in Suresnes and Dardilly.

You will also support both the fruit and cheese Business Units to strengthen Bel’s reputation as an innovative and committed company.

You will work in cross-functional and close collaboration with the Bel France brand teams located in Suresnes and Dardilly, corporate teams, and Group teams, who provide strategic direction, guidelines, and tools.

Your main responsibilities will include:

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONCOMMUNICATION STRATEGY TO ENHANCE BRANDS & BEL IN FRANCE

– Define and lead the corporate and consumer communication strategy for Bel France.
– Develop the PR strategy for the brands and support Bel France spokespersons to build Bel’s reputation as an innovative and responsible company.

ENHANCING BEL’S PROFILE IN FRANCE

– Develop and roll out a healthy snacking corporate communication strategy for brands such as Bel France and Materne By Bel.
– Promote the group’s responsible commitments and employer brand.
– Define the PR strategy for cheese and fruit brands.
– Develop brand communication strategies for spokespersons, including target audiences, key messages, planning, and ambassadors.
– Act as the key contact for the Group’s communication teams to deploy and amplify the visibility of our commitments in France.
– Prioritize and define key narratives and messaging in partnership with internal experts (CSR, Nutrition, Sales, R&D, etc.).
– Enrich and manage communications initiatives for Bel France’s ecosystem and market stakeholders.
– Oversee partner agencies (PR): manage, report, and optimize processes.

BRAND PR ENHANCEMENT

– Define the three-year PR strategy for cheese and fruit brands in collaboration with marketing teams, setting brand priorities, messaging pillars, key themes, and relevant target ecosystems.
– In partnership with marketing teams, set the strategy for major PR activations, tone of voice, creative assets, ambassador community selection, etc.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT

– Develop and implement crisis communication plans, processes, and spokespersons at the company level.
– Act as the main contact for crisis communication in France in coordination with Group communication teams, ensuring swift and effective messaging to minimize impacts on company and brand reputation, and relay information to regional and customer service communication networks when necessary.
– Anticipate crisis communication with appropriate materials (Q&A, key messages, etc.).

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

– Develop and deploy the internal communication strategy.
– Supervise headquarters, brand, function, and foundation activities in coordination with global teams.
– Manage Bel France’s group on the internal communication platform:

– Supervise the work of the internal events project manager (including editorial calendar updates, major event management, onboarding new employees, etc.).
– Ensure weekly group engagement: share Business Unit news, highlight collective initiatives, milestone achievements, media coverage, relay events, announce new arrivals, etc.
– Oversee the organization and facilitation of BU events: annual convention, holiday parties, Quoi de neuf updates, etc.
– Foster cohesion among all BU employees during major events aligned with Group strategy (I know, I act, I am an activist): Actors for Good, Days for Good, Inclusion Day, etc.

TEAM MANAGEMENT & UPSKILLING

– Primary point of contact for coordinating communication between the French and Group teams.
– Line management of one internal communication project manager.

Profile Requirements:

– 8-10 years’ experience in corporate communications and public relations
– Project management skills: rigor, organization, and ability to prioritize
– Understanding of business and marketing challenges
– Agility, creativity, and ability to deliver innovative solutions
– Leadership skills: assertiveness, ability to unite and inspire teams
