The BPO Controlling is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and relevance of business processes related to project and overheads controlling. This includes ensuring alignment with the group’s operational needs and coordinating stakeholder actions to ensure seamless execution.
The BPO Controlling plays a pivotal role in the deployment, evolution, and continuous improvement of Oracle solutions across the organization. This role ensures strict adherence to the Group Core Model, drives change management initiatives, and actively contributes to reinforcing the Project & Overhead Controlling community through best practices, training, and community leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oracle Deployment and Rollout (Build)
– Participate in pre-study phases to analyse gaps between local practices and the group standard model.
– Recommend Oracle technical evolutions and define change management actions to ensure successful deployment.
– Support Oracle PPM deployment activities, including UAT preparation, training documentation, and user support.
– Manage new business integration by adapting the Oracle core model and proactively addressing requirements.
– Act as an interface between Oracle teams and program teams.
– Collect and structure lessons learned (REX) and propose improvement initiatives.
2. Oracle Functional Support and Evolution (Run)
– Contribute to Oracle updates in compliance with management and group finance rules.
– Support Run teams by identifying defects, proposing change requests, testing new parameters, and assisting in change management implementation.
– Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the core model and ensure its accurate application within Oracle.
3. Controlling Community Development
– Sponsor training initiatives to raise awareness of the latest developments and deliver regular sessions on the core model.
– Support the Regional Finance System Advisors in the animation of the Key Users community through webinars, newsletters, and other communication channels at regional and site levels.
– Contribute to drafting and sharing the Project Controlling Handbook, Task list and good practises & ways of working.
4. Process Design, Performance & Continuous Improvement
– Define, structure, and document end-to-end business processes related to Project and Overheads Controlling, ensuring standardization, consistency, and operational relevance.
– Monitor process performance using defined KPIs; identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
– Lead continuous improvement and ensure ongoing alignment with operational and business needs.
