We are looking for a capable and energetic counsel to join the legal department in our headquarters in Paris. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in strengthening Vestiaire Collective’s legal team and supporting the group’s global growth strategy.
You will work on a diverse and challenging range of general commercial and marketplace regulatory matters, and be responsible for managing external law firms and other service providers.
You should be someone who seeks responsibility and autonomy in your role, who is inquisitive, enthusiastic about e-commerce, digital marketplaces, technology and sustainability, and enjoy being challenged intellectually.

The role is based in our Paris headquarters and some international travel may be required.
What you will do
– Negotiating and drafting contracts relating to our e-commerce and marketplace activities – covering software/technology/AI, payments, transport and warehouse operations
– Advising on e-commerce and marketplace regulations (including DSA, P2B, PSD2, GPRS, NIS2, EU AI Act and Customs)
– Managing legal topics relating to general business and commercial matters
– Where needed, manage and communicate with external law firms and other service providers
Who you are
– University Degree and legal qualifications
– 6 to 8 years post qualification experience (In-House or Law Firm)
– Strong ability to operate autonomously
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a start-up type environment, managing internal and external stakeholders
– Fluent in French and English (written and oral)International exposure
– Ability to be practical and business-minded with an ability to present to internal stakeholders with real-world, pragmatic advice
– Excellent legal and commercial awareness, drafting and negotiating skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
– Preferred: E-commerce, Marketplace, Luxury goods or technology industry background or exposure
